It's been a case of checking around today to see what people are up to on new year as it draws ever closer seems I've got nothing planned. Usually it would be decided for a night at Dempsey's or Xes but seems I've quit the gay scene with the exception of Climax, the only one final good remaining gay night in Sheffield, this means I'm off bounds for any gay night out in Sheffield.
As most of my friends and no doubt John will be embarking on some rubbish gay night I've asked around and Lucy has come up with what would seem to be the best idea as she is having a party at her house. I've never done a house party for new year so this would be something different. This is likely to be what I will end up doing and maybe Michelle will go along too. So it will mean no new year with the boyfriend but in all honesty the future will see me and John not going to clubs together at all. He don't like the straight and I've taken a very dislike to the gay scene. A friend told me we should compromise. That can be done with a lot of stuff in life but for a night out this would mean that one person would enjoy it and feel comfortable and the other not and vice versa and I'm not one for putting people in situations where they are not comfortable. Gonna be very strange from now on one thinks.
So that could be new year sorted anyway. Christmas will be fully sorted by Friday when I buy the final presents for Christmas. Christmas day is sorted so I will be at my mums for a few hours before coming back home for Christmas dinner with John. Christmas food shopping is pretty much done after going shopping yesterday.
