Sheffield Cooling Towers

Sunday the 24th of August they are going to demolish the famous Sheffield cooling towers and a stand is been set up at Meadowhall so that people can go and watch. Its been in the pipeline for a long time but no date has ever been set till now that is and as far as I've seen and read it will be done in the early hours of the morning. I've included the current picture of it now and the future plans in it's place which I don't understand the logic to really but hey ho.

The towers do look a bit dated and out of place and there really is no need for them. I know Sheffield is trying to look a bit more upmarket with all the work it has been doing recently. The plan is that I shall be attending with Patrick and his new boyfriend Dominic and who ever else fancies going along. It's bank holiday weekend as well so I don't need to worry about work or anything. I've never even seen a demolition before so I'm quite excited actually and I'm sure we will take a drink with us as we watch it to be going going and then gone.

Anyway so far this week Monday/Tuesday work work and not much more. Monday I were still covering but thankfully an easy day and watched a movie United 93 that night. One of those films that really gets ya thinking. Today Tuesday I returned to my normal sales role until next week when I cover again. Gemma brought me in some penis rock today at work lol from an Ann Summers Party so I'll save that for a special occasion lol.
