I was up at 9am this morning to get ready to go out for the night, something I have of course usually do at night lol so here I am getting my clothes sorted, doing my hair etc etc to then set off to go to work for 11.30am for the few hours I would be there. I was only online for about 2 hours as I had a managers handover to do seems I'm covering for a week on Monday.
Work went pretty quickly and I finished at 3.30 and went off to meet Patrick and Gemma so that we could walk up to Climax, and here we are in the street drinking wine out of a subway plastic carton lol whilst we walked up. The weather is ok as well, warmish but windy. So anyway we arrived around 4pm, and not half as busy in the day event as last year but still we went straight for the pitcher lol before going off for a burger.
We all had face paint done so they looked rather funky and the pictures will be coming soon, on that note we did not have any camera's with us tonight apart from the phones so there are hardly any pictures but oh well. We spent 6 hours in the day event slowly drinking seems we had the night event to attend yet. Chris, Dave and Ryan all arrived at the day event as well along with Katy too but they all went home to get changed that's after I went with Chris to have his face paint done too lol. Gemma and Patrick had some henna tattoos done too but I'd got my new one that I wanted to flash instead.
10pm the night event arrived and off the 3 of us went and once getting in there straight to the bar and straight to the dance floor and for the first 20 mins or so it really were just us 3 dancing lol to our little funky dance that we have made up, some girl attempted to copy it so we did try and teach her lol. Russel shortly arrived with his new hair style and then Climax soon started to pile up with people and of course the place began to heat up so I was hoping my facepaint would not start to drip down my face and at the same time I was trying to be careful not to touch it. Oh and some drag asked me if I had just pulled his wig off, which of course I hadn't before he then started shouting out loudly to demand who had pulled it off, which of course no one came to him to admit which is as expected why would someone come up and say oh yes that would be me?
Tonight Bradley Mackintosh from that now broken up band S Club 7 was a guest tonight so he sang a few of there S Club 7 classics including Don't stop movin so we were happy he sang that lol. The rest of the music was good too. I lost Claire for most of the night as well, hmmm. Approaching about 12.30am the night began to take its toll on me lol oh I'm getting so old and I turned to water and by half 1 enough was enough lol and me and Gemma left so almost 10 hours of partying and drinking and I left to go home. Gemma got a taxi from mine and I went off to bed too lazy to even take the facepaint off.
It's been a good night but not as good as the last Viva.
