I had heard on the news XL Airways had gone bust but thought nothing of my holiday to Egypt at first until I saw that they do fly there before then getting the news off my mum that our holiday had been cancelled, god damn these airlines. So for a moment Egypt was off the cards but then a turn around happened and we were offered a refund of the flights or re book another time so we now fly on the 19th of November so 2 months later than booked as we were due to fly in 2 weeks time, so I'm pretty gutted especially as I've had to book the time off work and stuff and hopefully I can now change my holidays or I could be screwed.
On another note as well I arrive back on the 26th of November and then 2 days later I fly out to Morocco for a week so 2 holidays within a short space of time lol, not something most people usually do but that part is somewhat a bonus that is of course providing I am not flying with XL for Morocco. I'm awaiting for Jay who I'm going with to confirm the flight company. That would be seriously bad luck if that happened
Nottingham
Saturday night was a planned night to Nottingham NG1 club with Russel, Patrick, Matt and Mark, Patrick could not make it so we all went as planned, and it's all of our first times here with the exception of Russy Pussy who has been in the past. A 45 minute or so drive down there drinking in the car (not Russel of course) and listening to music whilst I sing along to Girls Aloud, and we arrived just gone 11pm oh and on route out of Sheffield we spotted strange orange balls in the sky, which I found very unusual. UFO one thinks
I have to say its quite a swanky club in comparison to what Sheffield has to offer and the drinks were cheap and the rooms and music were really good. Some how I only spent £30 and that included buying a round of 2 shots each but yet I got rather drunk. We had a right laugh and a really good night, danced for hours on end and I was in my element when towards the end the proper cheese came on with Timewarp and what not. Oh and can you believe we got kicked out of the Smoking area because we did not smoke, how rude I did try and debate with the security guy that it helps me to refrain from smoking but he had none of it.
Left the club towards 4am to drive back to Sheffield but ended up stopping off for a Mc Donald's as I were starving as so was everyone else but me and Matt had 2 breakfasts instead. Eventually arrived home gone 6am and I slumbered into bed.
