Yes! here I am back after a 6 month break from the blog, back to give you some updates to my every day life, ha ha - not quite every day mind but I shall once again be re posting updates more on a weekly basis instead. I can see people have still been visiting 4 months down the line even though the only updates going on where picture updates on the slideshow at the bottom. I continued to update them for everyone to see and for my website which is still up and running as we speak at http://www.wyattx.co.uk/
So where have I been and what have I been up to over the last few months?
Back in Jan this year I celebrated my 25th birthday, half way to 50 years old eh!!!, unfortunately it was not a birthday anyone could have hoped for nor expected as only days before it I'd been informed that a friend of mine, one who used to be a very close friend who I had previously lived with for a year and a half had gone missing. On the 30th of Jan as I was out having my hair cut ready for my birthday plans that night the phone call came through that the body that was recently found at the side of the train track was Michael, he had been struck by a train, only 24 years old. It was such a tragic loss and for me the 1st close friend I had ever lost in my life and with so many unanswered questions it made things more difficult.
I travelled with the family in the funeral cars as part of the family as I'm close to them especially Claire his sister. It was a nice send off and very touching
The death some what opened my eyes to life/friendships and relationships, but I'm still single and have been for 1 year and 2 months as of the time of posting this update, whilst I have met people I just do not seem comfortable in having a relationship. Friendship wise however after the event of Michael's death I rebuilt my friendship with Patrick after months of not really speaking and we are happily sorted and the friendship is clearly back on track and we are back to our adventures just like old times.
On that note however my friendship with Russel of 8 years slid down the slippery slopes and we have not spoke for 1 month now due to his own issues that because an issue.
Moving away from the doom and gloom, I'm still a none smoker and have achieved 8 and a half months and this month in fact I achieve 9 months so it's just 3 months away before I get that big milestone of 1 year and I'm looking forward to saying I've done it.
Work life is still going really strong and the team I currently manage are performing really well so all good in the work department.
Home Life, still living with Peter in Sheffield, over 2 years I have been here for now and I seem pretty content to stay here for the future.
Other than that as you can see there has not been a great deal going off in my life at the moment, I seen to have taken a detox time away from the scene so going out clubbing has been a bare minimum, mind I am getting old now lol. I seem to be more on the lines of eating out, drinking in and bingo nights out, all fun though.
So for now that's it and keep on checking back
