Deathly Sheffield

What a winter so far! this must be the worst winter I have known, usually we have snow for a day and a few days later it is gone. This time round we have had bad snow as has the whole country but that then melted and came back worse and is still melting away as we speak. Most of it had gone around here anyway. I can't believe how bad it actually has been, even how cold it is

I have slipped once and fell over the other week but today I left my house at half 7 and wondered what had happened when I began sliding all over the place this morning walking to work. It was deathly, it must have rained in the night and been that cold it froze over. It was literally like an ice ring and I had to walk at the slowest pace I could have walked at. I was determined not to fall over again. I managed to get in work but taking a long route to work where I knew ice would not be and once in work I was looking at the window and the amount of people slipping and falling over was unbelievable, mind I was laughing because you just do and plus if people had seen me fall they would have laughed at me but yeah on a serious note it really was deathly. I have known of quite a few accidents including a fire engineer crashing into a tram, massive traffic jams and a bus driving into a bus stop with the driver going out the window. What ever happened to our council doing something about the ice ready for us unsuspecting people about to walk onto it.
