
I have now achieved 2 days of none smoking and now head into my 3rd day. Today seemed a little more difficult after feeling a bit stressed but I still managed it with the extra help of the not so nice tasting gum. I have a feeling that like last time I attempted to stop my sleep will be disrupted, just waking up for no reason at random points in the night, as happened last night, bearing in mind that did wear off but it's still annoying.
I don't know if this is psychological thing or not but I seem to have been eating a lot more, possibly comfort eating or to keep my hands busy lol. On a good note my sense of smell must be starting to improve as Patrick came around for a few hours this evening for a drink and catch up and he smokes and I could really smell the cigs. As a smoker it's not a smell you normally notice but it's not a nice smell at all. Again this happened the last time I attempted to stop, It does make me wonder how I must smell when a none smoker is near me. That thought alone is enough to help me stop plus the added benefits of my health and the money I will save.
Today has been an alright day at work, and a nice chilled evening having a drink with Patrick. We have discussed Manchester but won't be going after all and instead will embark on Sheffield and tomorrow will be the big test for me as well.
On another good note the blog has hit the 15000 milestone and the next stop is the big 20. Once again thanks to all visiting and keep checking back.
